An ulcer is a break in the continuity of the covering epithelium, either skin or mucous membrane due to molecular death. The incidence rates differ based on the type. Some of the non specific ulcer sre arterial traumatic, venous(non-healing), pressure sore, Diabetic ulcer etc.
